 Slumber Pawty Fundraising Challenge 


I'm staying in a kennel April 18-19 for Shelter Slumber Pawty Iowa County Humane Society!


Yes, actually staying.


I’m raising money for Shelter Slumber Pawty at the Iowa County Humane Society, and apparently my friends and family think this is their chance to get back at me.


So here’s the deal…


 $1,000 raised
They choose a challenge I have to complete.


Possible options already being suggested:
• Wear the Cone of Shame for an hour during Slumber Pawty
• Do a dramatic Shakespeare-style reading of shelter pet adoption profiles
And knowing my friends and family… there will probably be more ideas.


 $1,500 raised
I have to read embarrassing stories about myself on video.


 $2,000 raised
They pick a ridiculous outfit I have to wear during Slumber Pawty.


Honestly this may have been a mistake. 


But if it helps the animals staying at the shelter while they wait for their next chapter, it’s worth it.

Yep… I’m Doing a Shelter Slumber Pawty 🐾

If you know me, you know this tracks.

I’m a dog mom, and this is my first year participating in the Global Shelter Slumber Pawty with the Iowa County Humane Society. That means I’ll be spending time (and a night!) at the shelter alongside other ICHS staff and volunteers—hanging out with adoptable animals, sharing what shelter life really looks like, and raising funds to support the animals in our care.

Animals have always been my soft spot. As a dog mom, I know how much they give us, and this event helps make sure animals coming through ICHS get the care, comfort, enrichment, and medical support they need while they wait for their next chapter.

Last year, ICHS raised almost $19,000 through this event.

This year, we’re aiming for $50,000 — and I’d love your help getting us there.
