Sarges Animal Rescue Foundation Inc

Every day in Western North Carolina, dogs and cats are abandoned, misplaced, or separated from their families, leaving them frightened, and alone. At Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation, we exist to change that story. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless animals and strengthen the bond between people and their pets by providing safe shelter, compassionate care, and access to critical resources.

For the fourth year in a row, Sarge’s is proud to take part in the Shelter Slumber Pawty. What started as a fun overnight challenge has become one of the most meaningful ways we connect our community to the animals who rely on us every single day.

This year, our goal is to raise $30,000 to support the daily operations that keep our rescue running. As a completely donor funded nonprofit, every dollar raised helps provide food, medical care, enrichment, and a safe place for animals while they wait for their families to find them.

Sarge’s may be a small rescue, but we are mighty. In our 21 years as an organization, we have helped more than 15,000 cats and dogs find loving homes.

During Shelter Slumber Pawty, we’ll be spending the night at the shelter alongside the animals whose lives you help change. Your support keeps tails wagging, purrs rumbling, and gives thousands of animals the second chance they deserve.
