🐾 Mallory & Kenley’s Slumber PAWty for the Shawano County Humane Society 🐾
Hi everyone!
We’re Mallory and Kenley— both FFA Officers and National Honor Society students who care deeply about animals and our community. On April 18, we’ll be taking part in the Shawano County Humane Society’s Slumber PAWty, where we’ll spend 24 hours at the shelter to raise awareness and funds for all the amazing animals waiting for their forever homes.
The Shawano County Humane Society does incredible work — last year alone, they helped 967 animals find loving families! But caring for so many animals takes a lot of resources. The shelter spends around $55,000 every month to cover essentials like food, medical care, cleaning supplies, and utilities. Every dollar raised makes a direct difference in giving these animals the support they deserve.
We’re excited (and maybe a little nervous!) to spend a full day and night with the animals, but we know it’s for a great cause. Volunteering and giving back to our community have always been important to us — and this is one way we can turn that passion into action.
Please consider supporting our Slumber PAWty by donating to the Shawano County Humane Society. Together, we can help them continue their mission of compassion and care — one paw at a time. 🐶🐱💛
