HAP Slumber Party Fundraiser

Sooo...  I'll be "sleeping" in Humane Animal Partners Stanton (formerly Delaware SPCA) and hoping my friends will be so entertained that they'll encourage my latest strange adventure and donate to HAP!

In addition to rewarding my latest insanity,  your donation will support HAP'S mission of saving furbabies through low cost vaccine clinics, community pet food pantry, reasonably priced (and excellent) veterinary services,  adoption, rescue, and much more!

I started volunteering at Delaware SPCA six years ago. My plan was to socialize (play with) kitties.  Like everything I attempt, it escalated into fostering (and foster forevers!), rescues, collecting donations of misc bedding, and general PODAN (performing Other Duties As Needed).

A few years ago the Delaware SPCA (whiched was formed 150+ years ago)  merged with Delaware Humane Association and Humane Animal Partners was born. 

Since then, Delaware has become the first No-Kill State!  HAP never euthanizes an animal because there's no room or they have a medical concern.  HAP treasures every furry life and strives to find the furever home best suited to each furbaby.

Sadly, while HAP is dedicated to saving as many animals as possible, funding and donations are barely keeping up with rising expences.

And this is why yours truly will be slumbering in the shelter among the kitties and doggies!!

I'd like to be able to say that I'm asking for donations for altruistic reasons but the truth is I want to show everyone that I have the very best friends!

Anyone interested in donating $1 for each hour I stay?! (Max $24 though I never, ever leave when I plan to.)
