Those who know me well, know this is my dream job. But 2 years in and countless feel good moments later, I STILL have experiences that hit me with that "wow" factor... This is one of those!
On Saturday, April 18, I'll be joining other staff, volunteers, and donors for a 24-hour lock-in at the shelter, eating, sleeping, and playing with our animals (while going live on socials) to raise money for the incredible lifesaving work we do year-round!
I truly can't wait to climb into the kennel and cuddle up to these cuties (or onto the cattery floor, who knows where I'll land)!
One of the hardest parts of working here, is saying goodbye to them at the end of the day... going home to my fur babes when I know they're still waiting for their home. I'm so excited to not have to say goodbye this time and I can't wait to give them the warmth and comfort of a late night snuggle!
