𝐍𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐓𝐢𝐧𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐨! 😺😺😺

It’s time for a fun little fundraising challenge… and this one involves our brand new foster kittens!

We currently have three adorable 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥 kittens in our care, and we’re raising funds to cover their spay surgeries, vaccinations, flea treatment, and microchipping. Each kitten costs about $100 for full care, and I still have $325 left to match. Just $150 in donations will fully care for this trio!

So here’s the plan:
𝑆𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘞𝘦𝘥𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘥𝘢𝘺, 𝘈𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘭 8 𝘢𝘵 5:00 𝘗𝘔, every donation will earn you entries into a kitten naming wheel spin. Eli and I will go LIVE from our foster room later that evening to see who wins.

How it works:

• Every $5 donated = 1 entry on the wheel

• Donations are matched, so your impact is doubled

What your donation does 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡:
• $5 (1 entry) covers vaccinations for one kitten
• $25 (5 entries) provides vaccinations, dewormer, and flea prevention for two kittens
• $50 (10 entries) fully covers one kitten’s care from spay to microchip

To submit names:
Add a dedication during checkout and include your name ideas, or send me a private message!

Need inspiration? Think famous female trios, Disney princesses, names inspired by their coloring, your favorite Starbucks drinks, or even your aunts’ names! 😆 The options are endless!

Let’s name some kittens and make a real impact while we’re at it!

This year’s Shelter Slumber Pawty is especially meaningful for Eli and me.

In October, we said goodbye to our sweet Bella after 17 incredible years. We adopted her in 2009, and she quickly became the heart of our home. Bella loved to chase her kitties one minute and curl up and cuddle with them the next. She especially enjoyed sneaking their food whenever she had the chance.

Bella is a big part of why I care so deeply about this work. Shelter animals are truly something special, and there are so many still waiting for a family to love them. Through fostering and volunteering with The Cat Hut and Hamilton County Animal AdvoCATes, I have been lucky to help dozens of kittens over the years, but there is always more to be done.

On Saturday, April 18th, Eli and I will be staying at The Cat Hut for 24 hours alongside other volunteers to raise funds and awareness during the Shelter Slumber Pawty.

This year, our organization has set a lofty goal of $24,360. Why this number? That is 6 months of The Cat Hut's spay and neuter procedure costs. Eli and I are going to try to raise one month of those costs and have set a personal goal of $4,060 in Bella’s honor. Loving her for 17 years was a gift, and this is one small way we can pass that love on.

To help us get started, I am matching the first $750 from our pet-sitting earnings, and we also have TWO generous $500 sponsor matches. That means the first $1,750 in donations will be doubled.

If you are able, please consider donating or sharing. And if you have loved a pet of your own, we would be honored to carry their memory with us, too. 💛
