Nicole Latus's Shelter Slumber Pawty

If you know me, you know my heart belongs to animals—especially those still waiting for their second chance. Getting to work at Elmbrook Humane Society means I see every day just how much love, care, and dedication goes into helping these animals heal and find their new families!

On April 18th, I’m trading my bed for a kennel and moving into the shelter for our Shelter Slumber Pawty. I’ll be spending the night with the beautiful pup pictured above, Garnet—sharing snuggles, late-night potty breaks, early morning routines, and giving you a real behind-the-scenes look at shelter life.

But this night is about so much more than sleepovers and puppy cuddles.

Many of the animals who come through our doors need medical care, vaccinations, and extra support before they’re ready for adoption. This fundraiser helps make all of that possible—giving them not just a safe place to stay, but a true chance at a healthy, happy future.
