Pound Pets fundraiser!

As most of you know I started pound pets in June of 2012. We started out networking the animals from Granite City Animal control. Well probably 95% of the animals that came in got placed another rescues, there was 5% that didn't for one reason or another. That was the reason we started pound pets rescue in January of 2014. We started out as a foster-based rescue. Not the easiest type of rescue. We remained mainly foster-based and then started adopting dogs out of the Granite City Animal control per request by The mayor at that time. In 2021 We left Animal control and was donated a building of our own. Since then this has been pound pets rescue and we decided we also need to be a sanctuary due to some of the unadoptable dogs that we have. We have quite a few expenses. The building needs some repairs. The dogs that we have now are probably here with us forever 

We do still adopt out cats. The expenses can get pretty costly. Especially for a small rescue like us. We get no corporate funding and I think we've received one Grant. Most of it comes from the community and our followers. That keeps us a float. Due to just donations or attending our events. Our followers are awesome. They have never let us down.
