Jenna's Shelter Slumber Pawty Fundraiser for CAC

Hi, I’m Jenna Bower, and my journey with Cincinnati Animal CARE began in 2023 when I was exploring what a career as a dog trainer could look like. I joined the Behavior & Training team, working hands-on with the dogs who struggled the most to cope with shelter life. Every day, I saw just how much patience, structure, and compassion can change a dog’s future.

After about ten months in that role, I realized I had even more to offer the organization. With a background in marketing and graphic design, I applied for an opening on the Community Engagement team and was thrilled to step into a new way of serving the animals and our community.

Now, I get to share the stories unfolding at Cincinnati Animal CARE every single day. I build campaigns and programs that inspire people to foster, adopt, volunteer, and give. And I even have the honor of helping launch fun, impactful initiatives like this one — the Shelter Slumber Pawty.

I’m so excited to take part in the first-ever event of its kind at our Hamilton County shelter. Your support of my campaign helps us care for more than 9,000 homeless animals each year and gives them the second chances they deserve.
