Have you ever said you just want to hang out with animals all day? That's what we do!
St. Hubert's Behavior Team works with our shelter animals to help them be the happiest and most adoptable they can be. The behavior team spends personal time with the animals, works on training and behavior modification plans, and educates prospective families interested in the animals they've worked with to ensure it's a good match for their new families.
The Training and Behavior Center has been at St. Hubert's since 1983 and helped thousands of canine students (and some cats!) learn everything to puppy kindergarten and basic obedience, behavior modification for common behavior problems, and learn and prepare for sports and therapy work. Training is the best way to strengthen the bond and understanding between people and their animals.
Doggy Day Camp has been around for over two decades offering a fun and unique daycare experience for countless dogs on our beautiful property at St. Hubert's. The dogs get to spend most of their time outside in the fresh air, wrestling, chasing, and playing in the dirt. This is where a dog can be a dog! The DDC also hosts our adult dog playgroups Rompin' Rovers and the rentable "SniffSpot" field on our property where all dogs can come to get zoomies out or throw a party!
The Behavior Team, TBC and DDC work every day to get dogs adopted, keep dogs in their homes, and help them live lives with lots of enrichment, activity, and fun with their families and other people who love and care for them.
