Spending 24 hours inside a humane society kennel isn’t exactly a spa retreat—it's a full day committed to understanding what these animals face in the shelter environment and why the work we do everyday matters. A handful of staff and volunteers are giving up their comfy beds for a 24‑hour slumber party with a dog, cat or small animal that is currently available for adoption. 

By donating, you’re directly supporting medical treatment, safe housing, and the daily operations that keep our animals protected, no matter how long their stay with WCHS lasts. This sleepover is a reminder that the need doesn’t pause overnight, and your contribution helps ensure we can keep showing up for every animal that walks through our doors.
