Slumber Pawty Time!!

Almost a year ago, I started my journey at Monroe County Helping Strays, working in the kennels with the dogs. Not long after, my background in veterinary care led me into the surgery room, and I’ve been lucky enough to help in even more ways. From day one, I’ve truly loved being part of this organization.

One of the most incredible things I’ve witnessed is how our community shows up for us—and for the animals—when it matters most. That support is what makes everything we do possible.

Since starting here, I’ve also opened my home to medical fosters. Helping these dogs and cats heal, grow, and eventually find loving homes has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. My husband, who also works at the shelter, shares that same passion. Together, we’ve fostered, worked closely with, and helped find homes for many of the animals you see pictured here.

Now, I’m raising funds for our Slumber Pawty fundraiser to continue supporting the animals who need us most. If you’re able to give—even a small amount—it would mean so much to me and my four-legged friends.
