Noreen’s Slumber PAWty Fundraiser

In 2007, Bob and I adopted Spunks (shown here) from The Washington County (WI) Humane Society, and began volunteering at the shelter shortly thereafter. Nearly 19 years later, we're still at it -- because we believe in the people, their mission and their commitment to caring for the animals of our community. (We're two of more than 800 volunteers at WCHS, which tells you something about the shelter's standing in the area!)

As for this fundraiser, I'll be eager to see what it's like at the shelter when the hustle and bustle of daytime gives way to night. I'm not sure I'll be getting any sleep, but I am sure I'll leave with a renewed appreciation for the important work being done there.
