While I may not be sleeping over at the shelter, my heart is fully checked in for this pawty, and for the incredible animals who call our shelter home.

The homeless animals of St. Louis are something truly special. They are resilient, goofy, loving, and endlessly hopeful—even after everything they’ve been through. Every single one has a personality that’ll make you laugh, a story that’ll move you, and a heart that’s just waiting for a family to call their own.

Behind the scenes, I get to work alongside some of the most dedicated, compassionate caregivers you could imagine. These are the people who show up every single day, in the rain, shine, holidays, chaos, and give these animals not just care, but love, dignity, and a sense of safety. They are the reason these dogs get a second chance.

But we can’t do it alone.

Funds raised during this Slumber Pawty can go toward life-saving and life-changing care:

💉 Emergency medical cases when animals come in sick or injured

🦟 Heartworm treatments that give dogs a real shot at a healthy future

🐶 Routine vaccinations that keep our whole population safe and adoptable
