This one is for Ellie.
She was adopted at 10 months old, and we were her third home. Like so many animals, she didn’t start with stability… but she deserved it.
We’re doing the Slumber Pawty in her memory and spending the night at the shelter to support Acadiana Animal Aid and the animals still waiting for their chance.
Our goal is $500, focused on spay and neuter services, one of the most effective ways to prevent overcrowding and give more animals the opportunity to find a home that sticks the first time.
Ellie’s story isn’t rare. That’s the problem.
But this is one small way to be part of the solution.
