My very first adoption started off with the 20 cats dumped in pink totes in 2018, there was only 3 left in 2020 at the shelter that had not been adopted due to being feralish yet they had bonded to me and I loved them so I took them home. Over the next few years I've adopted quite a few more, actually between dogs and cats that I have adopted lets just say since I started working for ODAS in 2018 and I adopted the 3 in 2020, I've adopted 1-3 pets every year till now. and lets just say I have a heart for ferals and slightly off special need cats leading to my most recent 2 I adopted in 2025, one being neurologic and blind the other one more than likely has dry FIP and is partially blind and has had a hard time walking and needs some special care, so they fit right in.
