Anthony's Shelter Slumber Pawty

 I've grown up around dogs all of my life. I've seen the best and worst in pets, specifically cats and dogs. Though all the possible worst things in dogs are things you can find with loved ones as well. High energy? Bad ADHD, aggressive? anger issues, too loud? Loud people. I've felt like they needed to be helped in nearly the same way we care for loved ones, even though I didn't really worry about what it takes to raise and take care of a dog. Recently however I've joined to help the Brass City Rescue Alliance for quite a few weekends now. I started to do this just for community service hours and also because it's something I found more like "real" community service. Now however it's something I don't want to miss for anything. Then I was told this event is something we should participate in. A top priority of anyone at this shelter is to show affection to our dogs. I would assume they don't feel very loved when they unfortunately need to stay in the kennel all day. This event will give them affection from everyone participating all day.  This, to me, doesn't seem much different from sleeping with a dog in your own home. 

All donations to this goal go right to the Brass City Rescue Alliance, for everything needed to care for the dogs that come to our shelter.
