On 4/18 I am staying 24 hours with a rescue dog in a kennel to raise much needed funds & awareness.

$1,245

raised by 30 people

$1,000 goal

Please donate to my Animal Rescue Shelter Slumber Pawty 2026 Fundraiser & help Benny "Blue Eyes" (pictured here) with his continued care at the shelter until we find Benny his forever home.

On Saturday, 4/18,  I will once again experience what shelter life is like by sharing a rescue kennel with a shelter dog for 24 hours - pajamas, sleeping bag, the whole shebang!

Slumber Pawty 2026 is a unique overnight fundraiser to support North Country Pet Adoption Services (NCPAS) — a foster-based, volunteer-run rescue dedicated to saving animals who have nowhere else to go.

This year, the event will be hosted at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds/FX Caprara Exhibition Building.

Every dollar raised helps NCPAS continue its lifesaving work, including:

• Rescuing dogs from overcrowded shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia
• Helping local cats through rescue, spay/neuter, and TNR programs
• Providing medical care for injured, sick, and senior animals
• Supporting foster homes that give animals a safe place to recover and thrive
• Finding loving adoptive homes for animals who have been overlooked or abandoned

NCPAS works tirelessly to save animals from across the South, New York City shelters, and right here in our own communities. Many of the animals they take in are seniors, medical cases, or animals that other organizations cannot help. These animals often require extensive veterinary care, rehabilitation, and time in foster homes before they are ready for adoption.

I volunteer at this animal rescue every Saturday, and every chance I get, because NCPAS is making a difference in the animal rescue community, which knows no boundaries.

Your donation helps cover things like:

• Emergency veterinary care
• Vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries
• Food, supplies, and enrichment
• Transportation from overcrowded shelters
• Treatment for heartworm and other medical conditions
• Care for senior animals who deserve a safe and loving final chapter

Animals arrive scared, sick, abandoned, or forgotten. Because of this rescue and the people who support it, they get a chance to heal, trust again, and find a family.

One night of sleeping in a kennel might be a little uncomfortable for us — but it represents something much bigger: standing up for animals who don’t have a voice.

Together, we can rescue more animals, change more lives, and give them the future they deserve.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps make that possible.

Thank you for your support!
