Thanks for checking out the fundraising page for the WayStation, Community Programs & Volunteer and Foster Departments! Our teams are working behind the scenes every day to keep pets safe, families together, and homeless animals on a path to a better life.

Our Community Programs Department is dedicated to keeping pets out of the shelter and supporting underserved communities. Through low-cost vaccination clinics, affordable spay and neuter services, temporary boarding assistance, food banks and more, we help families stay together with the animals they love.

Our WayStation Program has built a life-saving network of more than 90 partner organizations across the country united by a shared mission: to find homes for animals who need them most and invest in the communities they come from. To date, Waystation has relocated more than 30,000 animals through both local and out-of-state transports; it’s the primary source of animals who come into our care.

Our Volunteer & Foster Teams help all departments run more smoothly. Foster families open their homes to underage animals, emergency boarding cases, medical cases, and long-stay or stressed shelter residents. Our volunteers show up in every corner of our work, as WayStation assistants, clinic supporters, cleaners, laundry heroes, front desk greeters, adoption counselors, trainers, and steadfast supporters of our staff and animals alike.
