Slumber Pawty for the Pups

Empress and I met almost exactly one year ago (4/20/25) at Stray Rescue, where she currently lives. She had few friends, was shy, and even a little fearful of new people. 

With a lot of effort from both of us, we built our trust one Saturday morning at a time. Throughout the past year we’ve become best friends and if I had a different situation with my resident dogs, she’d be in my house. 

She now has tons of friends and is a favorite around the shelter. 

A little bit about Empress. 

She is gorgeous (obvi!), smart, silly, loyal, affectionate, and a great balance of playful and couch potato. She’s perfect in every way. She’s a great walking companion, snuggle bug, and passenger. She loves car rides, pineapple, banana, stuffies, and her people. Empress knows lots of cues, and is very well behaved-even around human food. She keeps her apartment clean and LOVES soft things like blankets and pillows. 

Due to her learning how to navigate meeting new people, Empress may do best in a quiet, adult only home that will work with her on continued training. She may also need more than one introduction before going home.
