Hi, I’m the veterinarian for the SPCA of Brazoria County, and I’m honored to be part of this year’s Shelter Slumber Pawty.
Every day, I meet animals at some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives—scared, in pain, and often without anyone to care for them. I’ve held puppies fighting to survive, treated dogs who have never known kindness, and comforted cats who are just beginning to learn what it feels like to be safe.
But I also get to witness something incredible: healing, trust, and second chances. With medical care, patience, and love, these animals transform. They begin to wag their tails again. They lean in for affection. They find hope.
That’s why this fundraiser means so much to me. Your support helps provide lifesaving treatments, surgeries, and the everyday care these animals desperately need. It gives them a chance not just to survive—but to truly live and be loved.
If you’re able to donate or share, you are directly changing the story for an animal who has nowhere else to turn.
Thank you for being part of their second chance.
