Charlotte's 2026 Slumber Pawty

This year I am fundraising as part of the CCHS Shelter Slumber Pawty team in honor of my foster dog, Duck. Duck has been with us since early November when we brought him home to foster. He has proven to be an absolutely lovely house guest, great with Brewster and fantastic with every person he's met, big or small.

What strikes me the most about Duck is that he is truly a GOOD dog. He desperately wants to make you happy, he listens when called (far better than Brewster...), and generally just loves being with you, wherever you may be. And yet, this is the second time he's found himself at the shelter. Dogs like Duck - sweet, well-behaved, GOOD dogs - rely on CCHS to help them find their way home. Without the safety net of the shelter, they would not get this second (or third) chance. Without CCHS, every year thousands of animals like Duck would not be sheltered, fed, and cared for while they waited for home.
