My goal in life is to do what I can to make life and society better for Delaware and for everyone. The HAP Shelter Slumber Pawty is an example to do just that. It allows me to work inside my community and to share my love of animals with everyone.
On April 18th ill be joining HAP for a 24 hour sleep over at the shelter to help show off some of the adoptable pets. So be sure to tune in as we go live with these wonderful animals, help us raise money for the shelter... And if you have space in your heart and your home, let us help you find the right companion for you.
This opportunity came to me very soon after my foster of 5 years, Beauty, lost her years long battle with cancer. Before Beauty, I was a proponent of rescuing dogs and Beauty gave me the chance to learn the joys of fostering. Over the past many years, I have run multiple charity events for different rescues in the state of Delaware and am very proud to continue this trend. Delaware was the first state to be recognized as being a no kill state, but the work that HAP (and all of the Delaware shelters) does to make this a reality is not cheap. Together we can help HAP to continue their mission to help provide a safe space for these animals as they work to place them in good homes.
