Aaliyah’s Shelter Slumber Pawty

Brass City Rescue Alliance has been huge part of my life for almost 7 years now. My sister and I began volunteering at the rescue in high school just for fun and to help the dogs in any way we could. I am now almost 22 and spend 3-4 days a week helping with all the pups between daily care, adoption events, or training. Out of the hundreds of dogs I’ve seen come through the rescue over the last 7 years, I remember every single one of them and their stories. You show me a picture and I could tell you their name. Every dog that comes through the rescue’s doors is so beyond loved here. One dog in particular that I have bonded with so much is Georgie. He is a young almost perfect dog who has been waiting almost a year for a home after being passed around so much. Georgie and I go on daily hikes, Tractor Supply trips, and lots of training class. He’s become my little buddy while he waits for the forever home he deserves. These dogs are my passion and they deserve the best homes possible, but to get that we need to raise money until they find their homes. Help Georgie and our other pups by donating to our fundraiser.
