Celebrating year 3 - 2026 Annual Slumber Pawty!!!!

It's a Three-Peat! I'm back for the 3rd Annual Shelter Slumber Pawty!

I am absolutely thrilled—and maybe a little caffeine-dependent already and so ready to participate in this incredible event, hosted by BFF of DeSoto Animal Services on behalf of DeSoto Parish Animal Services.

For the past two years, your overwhelming generosity has been the heartbeat behind this fundraiser. Because of your donations, countless dogs and cats have received life-changing care: essential vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, urgent vet visits, and safe transport to their furever homes, just like our little success stories, Aspen, who found her loving family after our first slumber pawty as well as these two pictured from the honey bee crew who were both transported along with their other 3 siblings to a partner rescue and they too found their furever homes.

This year, I'm ready for my 'midnight shift' at the shelter. While I only spend one night on a cot, the dedicated staff and volunteers provide paws-on-the-ground care 24/7/365. The funds that I & the other pawticipants raise through this event are what fuel that continuous effort: the food, the bedding, the medications, and the everyday love required to keep these sweet angels safe and healthy while they wait for their people.
