The Eau Claire Community Humane Association (ECCHA) holds a special place in our heart, and we are excited to share our personal fundraiser to support ECCHA’s 2nd annual Shelter Slumber Pawty! Over the years, our family has been actively involved with ECCHA, participating in various events and campaigns to help raise funds and awareness for the animals in their care. Now, we’re asking for your support to make an even BIGGER impact!

Why ECCHA Means So Much to Us

As a family, we have witnessed firsthand the life-changing work that the Eau Claire Community Humane Association does in our community. Each year, ECCHA works tirelessly to find forever homes for over 1,000 animals. These animals come to the shelter in all kinds of circumstances, but ECCHA’s dedication to their well-being, safety, and future is unwavering. Whether it’s a young puppy, an older dog, a cat, or even small animals, ECCHA’s team makes sure every creature is given the love and care they deserve until they are placed in a loving home.

Over the years, we have had the privilege of welcoming ECCHA animals into our family. We are proud to have adopted our beloved dog, Winston, who has brought so much joy and love into our home!  In addition to Winston, our family has also shared our lives with several other furry companions over the years—our loyal Labs, Hank, Gus, Molly, and Bruney. These wonderful animals, and countless others, have enriched our lives in ways we never could have imagined, and we want to help ensure other families can experience that same love and bond with their own pets.

How You Can Help

Our family is reaching out to you today to ask for your support in helping ECCHA continue their incredible work! Every donation counts, and your contribution will go directly toward supporting the animals that need it the most. The best part? Our family has pledged to match all donations, up to $10,000! That means your donation will have DOUBLE the impact! If you give $50, it becomes $100; if you give $100, it becomes $200. Your generosity will make a direct, lasting difference in the lives of the animals at ECCHA.  As a special part of this fundraising effort, our family has pledged to spend 24 hours at the shelter with the animals. That’s right—we will be spending a full 24 hours at ECCHA, including an overnight stay, to help care for the animals and experience firsthand what it’s like to be there around the clock. This is our way of showing dedication and giving back to the shelter that has given so much to our family and so many others!

The love for animals runs deep in our family. Not only do we adopt from ECCHA, but our entire family passionately volunteers, spending time at the shelter walking dogs and providing companionship to the animals. We have witnessed the difference kindness and care can make in the life of an animal, and love being a part of this process!

Whether it’s assisting with the shelter’s fundraising efforts, helping with events, or donating our time walking the dogs, our family strongly believes in supporting ECCHA’s mission in every way we can! Now, with your help, we can do even more.
