Since her royal adoption from ARLNH in 2016, Queen Poppy has graciously allowed us to live in her house (and yes… she is very aware of this arrangement). At the distinguished age of 11, she maintains a rigorous schedule of being permanently attached to her Dad—her loyal subject who happens to work from home.
Together, they enjoy fine dining outings (a.k.a. lunch dates) and daily strolls where Poppy inspects her kingdom. Meanwhile, her Dad and I work tirelessly to ensure Her Majesty’s lifestyle never dips below the standards she expects (and demands).
Evenings are reserved for snuggling on the sectional—by appointment only—and bedtime is strictly enforced at 9:00 PM sharp. No exceptions. No negotiations. Royal rules.
