My 24-Hour Kennel Challenge 🐾

Anyone who knows me knows my heart belongs to animals. My own "son," Kiki, started as a scrappy street cat before finding his way into my home and my heart. He’s living proof of what New Leash on Life always says: "You can't buy love, but you can rescue it."

I’m so dedicated to this mission that I’m spending 24 hours in a kennel with an adoptable pet this weekend to raise funds! This is the same incredible organization I’m partnering with to bring "Puppy Loves" rescue puppy yoga to TenneSingles, combining my roles as the host of Thursday Dating Nashville and a lifelong animal lover.

New Leash on Life is a lifeline for dogs, cats, and the humans who love them. We do not just shelter animals, we have built the trifecta of programs designed to keep pets safe, keep families together, and give every dog and cat the life they deserve.

Here's what your donation makes possible:

  The Adoption Center — the heart of everything we do. Every year, we care for over 500 dogs and cats who came to us through no fault of their own. Our team provides shelter, food, medical care, and love until every animal finds their forever home.

 The JOY Clinic — spaying and neutering is one of the most powerful tools we have against overpopulation. Our low-cost clinic serves any dog or cat in need, regardless of their owner's financial situation or residence.

  The Paw Pantry — sometimes a family hits a hard stretch, and the fear of losing a pet makes everything worse. Our Paw Pantry provides free pet food and supplies to families facing financial hardship, with no questions asked. Keeping pets with their people ensures the dog or cat never enters the shelter system.

  The Angel Fund — for the animals who arrive with more than just fear... heartworms, mange, injuries etc. The Angel Fund exists so that financial limitations never determine which lives we can save.

We are a mighty organization powered by a passionate team, an army of volunteers, and the generosity of people just like you. We don't have a large endowment or a corporate parent. We have this community and for that we are so grateful!
