If you’ve ever loved a dog, you understand how much they can change your life.

I’m participating in the CARE STL Slumber Pawty 2026 to raise funds for CARE STL—a place that means everything to me.

Both of my dogs, Hazel and Beau, came from CARE STL. They aren’t just pets—they are part of my heart, my healing, and my everyday life. Hazel is my heart. Beau is my soul.

Beau is also one of the dogs currently fighting heartworm disease. It’s scary to hear, but the truth is: heartworm is treatable. These dogs can go on to live full, happy lives—just like he will.

Right now, there are dozens of dogs at CARE STL who need that same chance.

That’s why this matters so much to me.

CARE STL is working to treat over 50 heartworm-positive dogs through their medical fund. These are dogs who deserve more than a diagnosis—they deserve a future, a home, and someone to love them the way I love mine.

I’ve seen firsthand what happens when a dog gets that second chance.

It changes everything.
