Constable Fulton’s Paw Patrol (The Real One!)
My journey with the SPCA of Brazoria County started in a way I never expected, through my daughter Meghan and a rescue dog named Puddin’.
When Meghan first met Puddin’, it was love at first sight. Watching that bond form between a child and a rescue animal was something special. Puddin’ wasn’t just a pet. She became part of our family. That moment opened my eyes to the incredible work the SPCA does every single day for animals that simply need a second chance.
A MUCH younger me serving the SPCA on their Board of Directors. The "Puddin" story started a personal journey and passion helping the animals of our communities.
As your elected Constable, my job has always been about serving the community. Most people think that means enforcing the law, protecting neighborhoods, and helping people in times of need. And it absolutely does.
But for me, service goes beyond just people.
It means caring for every living creature in our community.
Whether it’s protecting our environment through the Coastal Clean-Up Program, rescuing wildlife from dangerous conditions, or helping homeless dogs and cats find their forever homes, it all comes from the same place. A belief that strong communities take care of everything and everyone that calls it home.
The SPCA of Brazoria County works tirelessly to rescue animals, provide medical care, and give them the love and shelter they deserve until they find a family. But that work takes resources, dedication, and support from people like us.
That’s why I’m participating in the Slumber Pawty, spending the night in a kennel with a shelter dog to help raise funds and awareness for the animals who are still waiting for their second chance.
If Puddin’ taught our family anything, it’s that rescue animals don’t just change their own lives when they find a home.
They change ours too.
Your support will help the SPCA of Brazoria County continue their lifesaving work, keep their doors open, and help more animals find the loving homes they deserve.
Together, we can make a difference, one paw at a time. 🐾
