CPR Summer of Love ❤️

We love summer! It's always lots of fun, but for rescue it's also always really busy and expensive, too! Local shelters are bursting at the seams and we stay at our maximum capacity, with more requests for intake than we could ever hope to accommodate, all summer long. We have SO many wonderful dogs & puppies waiting for homes right now and when you see their cute little faces, you'd never guess that most of them also have a story of resilience.

These are two puppies from a litter of 7 that we just brought in from Madison County Rabies Control after they were surrendered by the owner. They were likely an accidental litter that resulted from an unspayed household pet. They were facing euthanasia because the facility is open intake and now they're safely in a CPR foster home. Thanks to CPR these puppies are now safe, cool, vaccinated, and get to be carefree little babies while they wait for homes of their own. 

The costs of rescue in the summer add up quickly and we could use your support to continue saving pups in need. 

$25 covers the cost of flea/tick prevention. Summertime = peak season for parasites!

$40 covers a 50 lb bag of puppy or adult dog food. 

$100 covers an exam and antibiotics for a pup that feeling under the weather.
