Please join me for our 3rd Annual Slumber Party as we raise funds for our very important Medical Funds, helping pets get the care and second chances they need and deserve.
Piko (in the pic above), is exactly why we do what we do—and why Paws Crossed Animal Rescue is hosting the Slumber Party next week to raise critical funds for our Medical Fund.
When Piko arrived at Paws Crossed, there’s no gentle way to put it—he was in devastating condition. He was severely underweight, much of his body was completely bald, and he was battling infections in both his ears and eyes. He had almost no muscle in his back legs, and testing showed his entire system was struggling. Our vet later told us that if he hadn’t been surrendered when he was, he likely wouldn’t have survived another 3 days 🥺
I wasn’t looking for a new dog—but he needed someone as a foster. And despite everything he had endured, Piko was nothing but gentle, trusting, and kind.
His story is one of many.
