Paws for the Cause 24 hr Shelter Slumber Pawty!

I am a cat/small animal volunteer at Stratford Animal Shelter in Stratford, CT. Starting on Saturday April 18 at noon until Sunday April 19 at noon we are having a 24hr Shelter Slumber Pawty. 

The Shelter Slumber Pawty is a collaborative fundraising event across the country that brings together animal welfare organizations to raise funds and awareness for shelter animals. 

This event directly funds medical care, enrichment, training, and the extras that go far beyond what the municipal budget covers at my animal shelter. This makes a real difference for the animals in our care. 

During the 24 hrs, we will eat, sleep and 'pawty' with our adoptable shelter animals all while raising funds for the animals. The event will be live streamed so please join in on the fun!
