To participate, organizations must be a 501(c)3 legally IRS registered nonprofit organization that supports animals, or a municipal animal shelter with a 501c3 fiscal sponsor.
Any individual may donate. Donations made through shelterslumberpawty.org to nonprofit organizations are 100% tax-deductible and irrevocable. Donations will not be refunded. Contributions may be made via credit card, debit card, PayPal, Venmo, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or ACH. Cash and check gifts are accepted and can be made directly to your preferred participating nonprofit organization.

Early giving for the Shelter Slumber Pawty begins on Friday, March 27, 2026. The Shelter Slumber Pawty kicks off at noon on Saturday, April 18 and will end at noon on Sunday, April 19. Any donations received between March 27 and noon on April 19 will count toward your overall event total.
Gifts made via cash or check between March 27 to noon on April 19 will count toward your organization’s event total, provided that you enter those gifts into your event page total. Please keep copies of all checks received. Project Bella reserves the right to request a copy of any checks of $1,000 or more (with account information blacked-out) to verify that the check was received during the giving period.
