Pope Memorial SPCA of Concord-Merrimack County

The Pope Memorial SPCA serves Concord and Merrimack County by providing shelter, medical care, and second chances to animals in need. Each year, we care for more than 1,000 homeless, abandoned, and lost pets while working to connect them with loving homes.

Beyond adoption, our work focuses on strengthening the bond between people and animals through community programs such as humane education, a pet food pantry for families facing financial hardship, and outreach that promotes responsible pet ownership and animal welfare.

With the support of our community, we are able to provide compassionate care, lifesaving treatment, and a safe place for animals until they find the homes they deserve.
