Humane Rescue Alliance Shelter Slumber Pawty

On April 18–19, we’re hosting our Shelter Slumber Pawty at HRA, and we would love for you to join us! 

This national fundraising event brings together animal lovers across the country for a 24-hour immersive experience inside the shelter. Participants spend the day and night caring for, cuddling, and advocating for shelter pets while raising funds that directly support their care and future homes. 

At the Humane Rescue Alliance, we honor more than 150 years of commitment to protecting animals, supporting families, and advocating for positive change to create a world where all animals can thrive. HRA serves as a national leader and local champion for all animals.

With a people-focused, community-based approach, we treat every animal as an individual and emphasize specialized care for both animals and their families. We are the largest animal services provider in our region – touching the lives of tens of thousands of animals annually through direct rescue, care, and community-based services. Our teams find solutions to both small and big problems, from providing direct care to an animal in crisis to tackling systemic barriers to affordable, pet-friendly housing.
