At The Cat Shelter, every cat who comes through our doors has a story.
Some arrive sick or injured. Some have been abandoned. Others have lived their entire lives outdoors, struggling to survive. Many come to us after being turned away elsewhere because they require medical care, behavioral support, or simply more time than most shelters can provide.
Those are exactly the cats we say yes to.
For more than a decade, our mission has been simple: create a place where cats always come first. That means providing not only shelter, but real care — medical treatment, behavioral support, enrichment, and the patience it takes to help cats heal and thrive.
Many of the cats who come to us are not “easy” cases. Some require surgery or ongoing medication. Some need months of gentle socialization before they are ready for adoption. Some arrive frightened and unsure of people after difficult lives on the streets.
But we believe every cat deserves the chance to feel safe, healthy, and loved.
And we never give up on them.
Because of supporters like you, thousands of cats have been able to begin new lives through our shelter. Cats who once faced uncertain futures now sleep in warm homes, stretch out in sunny windows, and live the peaceful lives every animal deserves.
But the work never stops.
Every day, new cats need help. Veterinary care, medications, food, litter, and safe housing all require resources, and the cost of caring for vulnerable animals continues to rise.
That’s why events like the Shelter Slumber Pawty matter so much.
When you donate to The Cat Shelter during this event, you are doing more than supporting a shelter — you are giving cats a second chance at life. Your gift helps provide medical treatment, daily care, and a safe place for cats who have nowhere else to go.
It means the scared cat gets the time they need to learn to trust again.
It means the sick cat receives the treatment that saves their life.
And it means that when the next cat in need arrives at our door, we can say yes.
Thank you for being part of a community that believes every cat deserves a chance.
Together, we are changing lives — one cat at a time.
