Welcome to the Humane Society of Forsyth County (HSFC), a distinguished 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving the Forsyth County community since 1975. Our mission is centered on providing shelter, care, adoptions, and community education for homeless, underprivileged, and abandoned animals.

As the largest no-kill, non-profit humane center focusing our efforts in Forsyth County, GA, HSFC is committed to several key objectives:

• Providing sanctuary for homeless cats and dogs
• Reducing pet over-population 
• Offering affordable preventative veterinary services to the community
• Supporting families in keeping their pets in loving homes
• Educating our community about the principles of responsible pet ownership

The National Shelter Slumber Pawty is a collaborative fundraising event that brings together shelters from across the nation (and beyond) to help raise funds and awareness for shelter pets. Amazing animal lovers will spend 24 hours at a shelter; eating, sleeping and pawtying with shelter pets while raising money for their favorite shelter.
