2025 Cat Hut Slumber Pawty!

The Shelter Slumber Pawty is a collaborative fundraising event that unites animal welfare organizations with a shared mission: raising funds and awareness for shelter animals in need.

Every year, hundreds of animal enthusiasts worldwide dedicate 24 straight hours to living alongside shelter pets. That’s right—participants share their meals and even sleep among the animals!

While fundraising is at the heart of the event, the spotlight it shines on shelter pets and the incredible work of animal shelters can be just as transformative. During the Slumber Pawty, every participating pet gains a personal advocate, and shelters benefit from increased visibility in their communities.

This year marks The Cat Hut’s 2nd annual Slumber Pawty, and our staff and board members are thrilled to spend a full day at the shelter. They'll document their experiences on social media and rally support from friends and family to reach our fundraising goal.

The excitement begins with The Cat Hut’s Slumber Pawty Kick-Off on March 14, followed by the 24-hour event itself, running from noon on Saturday, April 5 to noon on Sunday, April 6. Last year, we smashed our original $7,500 goal and surpassed even our stretch goal, raising an incredible $13,445! This year, we’re aiming even higher, with a goal of $15,000.
