2025 CPR Shelter Slumber Pawty

Companion Pet Rescue is participating in the nationwide Shelter Slumber Pawty again this year! During this event, shelters across the country join together to show their communities what it's like for pets living in a shelter setting, how much work goes on behind the scenes to care for the animals, how vital volunteer power is to their organizations, and to raise money for their shelters.

 As a part of this amazing event, volunteers are spending 24 hours at the CPR Adoption Center in Southbury. They'll be sharing their experiences on their own social media platforms while trying to raise at least $1,000 each for CPR! Last year we participated in this event for the first time and raised over $15,000 for our sweet rescue and that helped to ensure we could take in pups no matter their medical condition. This year, we've decided to shoot for the moon with a $20,000 goal! 

The Pawty kicks off April 5th at 1pm and runs for 24 hours. During the Pawty we'll have an Adoption Open House 4/5 from 11-2 and 4/6 from 11-2 at the CPR Adoption Center (522 N. Georges Hill Rd., Southbury). You can join us to meet our pups, enter our raffles to win great prizes, and have lots of fun.
