Savannah’s HAP Shelter Slumber Pawty :)

Hello! I am a foster for the HAP Shelter and I’m proud to be part of Team Foster for the shelters Slumber Pawty Event! Being able to help animals transition from foster life to a forever home is always an incredible journey. It is a journey I fit into my daily life because every animal deserves safety, care, and a chance to be loved. Through fostering, I’ve seen firsthand how much of a difference compassion and our HAP community's support can make! I’ve watched hungry strays become full-bellied babies. Pulled kittens from under cars that would later find themselves sunbathing on a bay window. I have plucked fleas off a litter of nine one by one and now I dog-sit some of them! These moments were made because HAP supported each and every animal I’ve fostered by supplying food, toys, medication, blankets and more. 

The HAP shelter is participating in a National Shelter Sleepover Pawty on April 18th. Myself and some of our amazing staff and volunteers will spend 24 hours living at the shelter! We will experience what the shelter animals experience every single night. This event not only provides insight and allows us to see through the eyes of our shelter pups, but the fundraiser helps provide that food, medical care, and safe shelter for the animals that I foster.
