Mallory Gould's ICHS Shelter Slumber Pawty

 As a pet sitter, I spend my days caring for other people’s animals—walking them, loving them, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable when their humans are away. Because of that, I see firsthand just how much animals rely on us… and how much they give in return.

That’s why I’m so excited to be participating in my first Global Shelter Slumber Pawty with the Iowa County Humane Society.

I’ll be spending time (and even a night!) at the shelter alongside staff and volunteers—hanging out with adoptable animals, sharing what shelter life really looks like, and raising funds to support the animals in their care.

Every animal deserves to feel safe, cared for, and loved—even while they’re waiting for their forever home. This event helps make sure they get the comfort, enrichment, and medical care they need during that time.

Last year, ICHS raised nearly $19,000.
This year, we’re aiming for $50,000—and I’d love your help getting us there.
